Good tutorials

I decided it would be useful to try to assemble a list of good tutorials here. These will probably be mostly or completely in YouTube. I will update this list as I find new stuff.

There is no limitation of what these will be about. I will try to categorize them but they may be anything from programming to arc welding. Basically whenever I watch a tutorial and decide it's good, I'll put it here.

Assembly video for the 16 LED posted

I have posted an assembly video for the 16 LED RGB blinkie.  If you don't have one of these blinkies to assemble, it's the most boring 28 minutes you'll ever see.  It's intended for people who purchase the blinkie kits and don't assemble them at a workshop.

$30 eBay 937D soldering iron teardown and review

I wanted to replace the aging (and lousy) Radio Shack soldering irons that we've been using for teaching people to solder for years now, and these seemed to be good IF they weren't also lousy.  I picked up a couple of them to test.  Short answer, they're surprisingly good given the price, probably a great choice for a beginner.
